Terms of sale

The terms on which we sell to you.

Last updated 15 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed on this website, which is operated by [Legal entity name] (trading as Hollis & Grey), [Registered address]. Company number [Companies House number]; VAT number [UK VAT number]. Please read them before you order; by placing an order you agree to them.

Your order

When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. That is not yet acceptance: the contract between us is formed when we email to confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if a price was shown in error, or if we suspect fraud; if we do, we refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery costs are shown before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never see your full card details.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch and deliver within the times shown on our Delivery page. Those are estimates; we are not responsible for delays outside our control, but we will keep you informed. Responsibility for the goods passes to you on delivery.

Returns and cancellation

You can return unworn items within 30 days of delivery, as set out on our Returns page. Items not eligible for return: items marked final sale.

As a consumer you also have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. This is in addition to our returns policy and does not affect your other statutory rights.

Faulty items

If something arrives damaged or develops a fault that is not the result of normal wear, misuse or accident, contact us at [Customer service email] with photographs. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are not affected by anything in these terms.

Product information

We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Natural materials vary, and colours differ slightly from screen to screen; small variations are part of the character of the goods and are not faults.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, photography and design, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reused without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
